Chaves Thermal Spa to bring together professionals from science, health and nutrition to discuss the impact and benefits of Thermal Water on wellbeing

At the event, where two new products containing Thermal Water will be presented, attendees will include Nuno Vaz, Mayor of Chaves, Ana Bravo, Nutritionist and Ambassador of Chaves Thermal Spa, Rosa Ribeiro, Hydrologist Doctor, and Maria José Alves, researcher at the AquaValor Collaborative Laboratory.

What is the impact of Flavian Thermal Water on promoting health and wellbeing? What benefits arise from combining Thermal Water with a healthy and balanced diet? How can dermocosmetic products enriched with Thermal Water contribute to women’s health and wellbeing during peri- and menopause?

These will be the main topics of an event organized by Chaves Thermal Spa this Wednesday, October 22, at the Buvette.
The session will feature the participation of Nuno Vaz, Mayor of Chaves, Ana Bravo, Nutritionist and Ambassador of Chaves Thermal Spa, Rosa Ribeiro, Hydrologist Doctor at the Flavian Spa, and Maria José Alves, researcher at the AquaValor Collaborative Laboratory.

During the session, which will take place at 5:00 p.m., two new dermocosmetic products will also be presented. They were developed as part of the Innovative Pilot Project “Therm4Skin: Wellbeing Without Pause”, funded by the "la Caixa" Foundation.

Led by GEMC - Management of Municipal Facilities of Chaves (the entity responsible for managing Chaves Thermal Spa), the project is being developed in partnership with the AquaValor Collaborative Laboratory and the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry of the Portuguese Catholic University.

Its main goal is to diversify and enhance the range of dermocosmetic products of Chaves Thermal Spa, highlighting the properties and high potential of Chaves Thermal Water.
